Last night really brought the drama. None of it was mine, but I was right there in the middle of it all. I had just gone to sleep in Charity’s room (because I hardly ever sleep in my own room anymore) and was sleeping soooo good when I was awaken by Valerie and Charity screaming in each others face in the doorway. Someone has been writing things on Val’s marker board like “whore” and “slut” and things of the like. Once it was Charity (shhhh!) but that was a while ago. Well, some other people have been doing it and Val decided it was Charity and that she would go off on her about it at 1 in the morning. There had been a lot of tension between them and maybe a few other people lately for reasons I don’t feel like going into, but anyway. Also Val was drinking a little. I thought fists were going to start swinging. They woke everyone up on our floor and even some people on the floor under us. The night supervisors were called up and it was just a mess. It’s probably not over either. But after they got Val to go in her room and shut the hell up there were problems with other people on the floor that had nothing to do with the big fight that had just occurred. All kinds of shit. Lots of people got written up and it was just this big chain of events all night. One of the most memorable events being the night supervisor (the stupid one) going into Miranda’s room without even knocking like he is required to do and trying to write her up for something stupid. She tried to tell him she was changing but he would not listen so she just came out into the hallway in her underwear and a towel held over her boobs and just started yelling at him. That was entertaining. It was quite a night and I lost lots of sleep. But I get to leave tomorrow so all is well in Lori land :D
