Got stuck on the damn elevator

SO sorry I haven't been able to update even if I wanted to and I do. I still have to buy a cable to hook up my internet, and I’m rather broke. This is college you know. I can use it here and there but it's hard. I don't like having people around me here in the library while I am trying to update. I was using my roommates, but aside from not wanting Diaryland showing up on her computer, she has password protected it, so I can't use it at all. Even though it is her computer she said she didn't care, and it's not like I'm going to corrupt it or anything. So it kinda hurt my feelings a little and made me mad. So eph that. (As I am writing this I am waiting on laundry, and plan on going to the library to update...)I really like it on the second floor with the laundry and everything, because when there isn’t anyone else on it it’s is really quiet and I feel like I have some privacy. I can write this without people around bothering me. There are computers in the lobby of my residence hall, but they are temporarily out of service, so I am suffering. And the library isn't always open.

Well, today was quite a day. I got stuck on an elevator for the first time in my life. and I could have done without it. I got on with three other girls so thankfully I wasn't alone we got on on the top floor (cause that's my floor, the 16th) After the elevator decided it was going to stop every two or three floors, when we reached about the second or third it decided it wanted to go back up. And after about the 5th floor, It got really screwy. The lights, bell, and annoying automated voice stopped working and we didn't know where we were going. The eight floor light came on, and it started shaking, and making a weird noise like a motor that wanted to run, but was stuck. So obviously by this time we are all freaking out and shaking. The girl closest to me started pushing to help button and we got a hold of the maintenance people. We told them about our situation, and then waited...and waited...freaked out...waited. Turns out one of the girls wasn't even a student. She was just helping someone else move in. While all this was going on, one of the people I had just met, named Kate was waiting on me in the lobby. We were heading over to the ravine for some free food and such. After a few minutes the maintenance yelled from the other side of the door that the lights may go out, and we may drop but not too far. Well, that made us feel a lot better. After about 20 minutes of freaking out, and listening to two of the girls call their boyfriends or whoever and tell them they love them, we were moving again, but were going up. Then down....and it finally let us off on I think the 11th or 12th floor. So we took the stairs. I will never ride the middle elevator again. The other two are unstable enough. I'm still mad I can't use her computer...so much for the roommate.
